Think about it. They want all the children from twelve years of age and under. Either to make movies or child labor. They realise that pedophiles are costing them too much money. However, they can make a ton of $$$$ off of the little ones.

Again, we go back to the Torah and all what Yehovah had commanded us and Yeshuah to do. It's all there in the first five books of Moses or the book of instructions. And those who follow it are his people(Israel). If you listen to some of the Torah teachers they all agree that the covenant is a renewed covenant.

That's what I was told by the elders. This brochure wasn't meant to be handed out to everyone at the Dc since there was a shortage. He said to see a copy of it we had to download it off the internet. I wouldn't want one now after reading it. Society thinks they are a know it all on every religion out there. WBTS haven't a clue on their own beliefs, how could they possibly know anything about the other persons beliefs?????

Notice they stayed away from how the nation of Israel are now a spiritual nation? Nothing on the 144,000 or fds. They will laugh their faces off when they see gods name with the letter J instead of Y. Or where they quote Matthew 5:17,18. How Jesus came to fulfill the Law(to make rich) and NOT to destroy the Law. For truly I say to you that sooner would heaven and earth pass away than for one smallest letter or one particle of a letter pass away from the Law.
Has heaven and earth passed away yet? NO! So obviously the Law or any letter of it would not pass away. Why would it? It came from Yehovah. The Law was perfect. It was man that distorted it and it was Yeshuah who had to come to teach it over again. And once again he will have to come to teach it. Last warning to all of mankind. This magasine is an insult and a joke.
When I asked for a copy of it the elders said it wasn't for everyone at the DC. I asked why and they said there was a shortage and they were told it would be online if we wanted one. That didn't make sense. Did any of you who went to the DC recieve your own personal copy?

Excuse needed to get out of talk
by noonehome ini work with the school overseer so he'll be with me all day before the meeting...so being 'sick' isn't an option.
this really isn't like me to weasel my way out of something....but i've been ridiculously depressed lately and honestly i just don't have it in me to do anything let alone put a talk together.
everytime i do one it takes allot out of me and let's just say the well is pretty dry.

Last night the one cool elder calls me
by confusedandalone ini figured he was going to arrange the committee and try to get me kicked out after the whole "big pile of books" labelled "take this shit".. well his call made me realize that more and more people ... elders included no longer take this religion seriously.
after he told me he heard what happened he actually laughed and said i would never expect that.
he then told me that it is apparent that i no longer want to be connected to the organization.

Hey Nugget, if your jc was rushed and they wanted you out, what do you call my jc of six hours and all based on lies and stories the accusers couldn't remember? Do you think my congregation wants us back? I know my one accuser does for she felt so bad(guilty conscience) that she had to call me to tell me the elders had no accusers and if she would mind filling in. She did but had no story. It's pretty sad when the elders say that since there were alligations true or not, they have to show to the congregation that I've been disciplined. Their words not mine. Disciplined over stories of five years ago where I was supposed to have discouraged these young twits from pioneering.
Sure am glad it was these idiots that got rid of us and not Yehovah! They have shamed us and humiliated us over something we didn't do and the elders made sure the whole congregation sent us a message loud and clear not to come back. Trust me, this religion is the farthest from the bible. I don't sit with wicked ones who hide what they are.

Please help. I am losing the plot.
by wordyword inafter being a witness for 40 years, i now find myself disfellowshipped.. i have had a number of doubts for a few years now, but still feel as if i'm living my life in the "t minus " to armageddon spector.. my parents are in their 80's and my dear mother is in very bad health.
i was allowed to pop through - about once a month to make sure my parents were ok and for them to see their grandchildren.
this all ended after the july watchtower article and especially since the district convention - with all the "counsel" on associating with disfellowshipped family members.. around 6 weeks ago, my dad asked me point blank why i wasn't trying to get reinstated.

Be careful that the watchtower isn't sniffing around your parents to see what they can get from them. They pretend to care while money is in their best interest. Hopefully you have other siblings that will help look after them. Really sorry to hear what your going through and wishing you nothing but the best. Take care of yourself and let your parents know that you love them no matter how they treat you. It's not their fault.

Who comes before the Messiah?

i am sending you elijah before the coming of the great day of jehovah and john 1:19 the people are asking john if he is the christ, or is he elijah, or is he the prophet.. we know christ is coming again.
but according to malachi, elijah has to come before the christ.

Thank you Myelaine. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Elijah still alive after the windstorm. At 2 Chronicles 21:12-15 it reads Elijah and the letter he wrote expressing Jehovah's condemnation which took place later on.
From what I'm trying to put together here from my studies is Elijah and now you have me studying again. Thank you for that scripture at Rev 8:8.
Again, Transhuman68, you also make a good point with Enoch and Moses. That Jehovah took them but they couldn't have gone to heaven since Jesus hadn't descended first.
Hebrews 11:35 = 1 Kings 17:17-24 + Hebrews 11:5 = Genesis 5:24 all of which are a great cloud of witnesses!
Sure do hope we're around to see how this will all play out but one thing is for sure, I really do believe that god will give everyone a fair chance to know the whole truth and then we will be allowed to decide wheather we follow him or be destroyed. Unlike the witnesses who think they have the authority to go ahead of Jesus and judge people without letting them learn the accurate knowledge first. That accurate knowledge comes when the two witnesses come and then Jesus. In this way I do feel very bad for the witnesses. Not the society.
